Darcy Juhar

Darcy was raised on a medium-sized irrigated and dryland grain and cow/calf operation near Turin, where his passion for agriculture began at a young age. After high school, he pursued this interest by earning a diploma in Plant and Soil Science, followed by a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lethbridge. He has since earned his Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) designation and is a registered member under the AIA, holding his AIT designation, which has further strengthened his expertise in the field.

Following his education, Darcy spent several years working on the family farm while also running his own custom spraying business. In 2023, he transitioned into agricultural retail, working as a Sales Agronomist with Nutrien for three seasons.

In his spare time, Darcy enjoys spending time with his wife Jeannine, helping friends and family during seeding and harvest, hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
